Natural building methods

Hi All !

I am Boovarahan from Chennai, a gentleman aged 48, frustrated with the current way of living especially the concrete jungle spreading all over the world.
I do have a house in Chennai which is built upon the so called modern methods which involved raw materials that required a lot of energy input.
In 2009 I have built a house in my native village of Periyamarai in which I have reduced the usage of modern inputs. Though I could not avoid the usage of cement , I have completely eliminated the use of steel altogether. The house have Mangalore tiles as roof on wooden rafters.
Now I have enough theoretical knowledge to build a house in a more natural and green way . Perhaps I may build a temple based on these lines.
